CAFE SPICE NAMSTEY BY CHEF CYRUS TODIWALA

Café Spice Namaste traces its roots to the day Chef Patron Cyrus Todiwala decided he wanted to become a chef, initially against his parents’ wishes. It was eighties Bombay and undeterred, Cyrus went on to study Hotel Administration and Food Technology at Basant Kumar Somani Polytechnic. Upon graduation, he began his professional career with the Taj Group in Bombay, where he met his wife Pervin, also a trained chef. 


Cyrus and Pervin moved to Goa, where Cyrus was appointed Corporate Executive Chef overseeing Taj Holiday Village, The Fort Aguada Beach Resort and the Aguada Hermitage. It was a big role, but in 1989 came a change of direction. Cyrus decided to leave the Taj to help restart a famous restaurant in Poona


An even bigger step was leaving India for London in 1991 Cafe Spice Namaste’s elaborate and extensive a’la carte menu incorporates the best of Indian cuisine with specialities and influences from all over the Asia, often with a European twist. Our recipes also draw from Cyrus and Pervin’s rich Parsee heritage.

Rare, unusual meats feature on the menu and our Speciality Menu changes regularly to take advantage of the best the British seasons have to offer. All our dishes use only the freshest of ingredients, cooked with natural herbs and Cyrus’s own spice blends.

We are committed to the authenticity and quality of all our products. Whether you’re a contract caterer, retail outlet or deli, simply provide us with your requirements, including definite volumes for bulk delivery and the order period, and we’ll look after the rest. Bulk Foods

Indian food is still one of the nation’s favourite cuisines. At Café Spice Namaste, we are well-equipped to produce and deliver bulk packs of various dishes to contract caterers and retail outlets throughout London. The best natural ingredients, strict adherence to recipe and personal supervision ensures the food’s authentic taste and composition. Our facilities meet highest standards of hygiene and safety. Requirements for chilled and frozen foods can be met with adequate notice. Chefs from the restaurant are available to demonstrate how the food should be presented.

Bar Snacks


We have developed an extensive range of bar snacks. These items are ideal for pubs, cocktail parties and even working lunches. Available frozen or chilled, these require very little effort for final presentation and service.


Sandwiches

A wide variety of sandwiches are prepared under stringent hygiene conditions with exciting fillings. These can be supplied to hospitals, offices and retail outlets.

Spices

Spices of all kinds are hand-picked by Chef Patron Cyrus and attractively packed for special orders from discerning customers. Regular supplies for retail purposes are available for delivery to specialist deli's and food shops.
